38-Meter Yachtfish Featured in Barche Magazine
A 38-meter modern "Yachtfish," currently under development by the Setzer team for an experienced yacht owner and sport-fishing enthusiast, was recently featured in Barche magazine. Intended for cruising in the South Pacific, the design will feature an enclosed pilothouse, a hardtop tower station, a full-sized working cockpit, a large aft deck, and a widened beam for additional interior volume and accommodations. Designed for aluminum construction, the yacht will support both long distance passage-making and fast cruising to fishing grounds, with top speeds of approximately 24 knots. The vessel will carry multiple tenders and toys on its elongated and recessed foredeck.
"This project represents an exciting trend toward self-supporting, long distance yacht-fishing vessels," says Ward Setzer, President. "Its a mission-driven design that blends luxury accomodations with state-of-the-art dive and fishing capabilities. We think of it as an adventure-ready, performance motoryacht."
